Mitsu is a guided self-therapy app that helps people feeling anxious or depressed build skills to manage their own mental health. Our 8-week program includes engaging video lessons and skill-building activities from proven modes of therapy, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. The in-app messaging feature means support from Mitsus in-house therapists is only a click away whenever you have a question or are simply looking for some motivation. Mitsu’s program is scientific, enabling, and supportive - just how mental health care should be. So, reach out. Reach for Mitsu!

->Backed by science.
Our 8-week program has been developed by experienced clinical psychologists and uses evidence-based techniques such as CBT, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and self-compassion. Research on these modes of therapy have shown them to be effective in improving symptoms of anxiety and depression and for building long-term emotional and mental health. For more details about the scientific research that Mitsu is based on, please visit the Evidence page of our website at: https://mitsu.care/evidence/

->Committed to care.
Navigating a mental health app on your own might sound intimidating, but Mitsu’s in-house therapists are always one message away. At any point during the program, if you feel stuck or confused, you can use Mitsu’s in-app messaging feature to chat with our therapists.

->Built to enable.
Mitsu takes the knowledge, understanding, and emotional regulation techniques out of therapists’ hands and puts them into yours. With Mitsu’s engaging video lessons and related mental health skill-building activities, you build the same skills that you would learn in conventional therapy.

->Designed for convenience.
With Mitsu, you can get started with therapy right away – no wait lists or rescheduled appointments. You can work at your own pace and in your own time. Because Mitsu is about keeping your mental health in your hands.

->Pledged to privacy.
Upon setting up your account with Mitsu for the first time, you’ll create an m-Pin, and you will be required to enter it every time you log in. Mitsu values your privacy and ensures that all your program work stays private, and password protected.

->How does the Mitsu program work?
Once you install the Mitsu app, you’ll fill out a self-check-in questionnaire about how you’ve been feeling. You will then schedule a video call with one of our in-house therapists, who will ask you about your specific struggles, personalise the program to your needs, and explain how to make the most of it.

After you enrol in the program, you’ll need ~30 mins a week to watch Mitsu’s engaging video lessons and complete the related activities, CBT techniques, and more.

Our 8-week program divides lessons into weekly themes that build on each other in a step-by-step manner. These help you build the same skills you’d expect to learn in conventional therapy. You’ll learn how to:

*identify negative thoughts
*spot what triggers them

*find a sense of control when negative feelings show up
*be kinder to yourself
*orient your life around what really matters
and much more

At any point during the program, if you feel stuck or unsure, you can use the app’s messaging feature to chat with our in-house therapists, who can:
*explain concepts
*answer questions
*encourage and motivate you

Scientific, supportive, and enabling – just how mental health care should be.

So, reach out – reach for Mitsu!
